MBT Wade Bennett King Education Series Presents Alex Zerbe’s Zaniac Comedy Show Alex Zerbe, also known as the Zaniac, takes a tornado of juggling skills, combines it with a whirlwind of science knowledge, and sends it crashing directly into your student’s brain. Your students will be captivated as The Zaniac transforms an audience volunteer into a model of the inner solar system with asteroids and stars, creates toroidal vortexes over the heads of the audience, and catches a shovel with his face! This interactive performance will spark your students’ curiosity about science while keeping them thoroughly engaged. Zerbe’s show zigzags between a comedic onslaught of absurd ideas and odd skills. Beatboxing, juggling, dancing, singing, music, and magic are just a few of the things that led Piers Morgan of America’s Got Talent to call Zerbe, “the total package.” During the show vegetables are sliced in half by flying playing cards, flaming torches and bowling balls are juggled with ease, and every audience volunteer leaves the stage in triumph. In his 15 year career Zerbe has been awarded two Guinness World Records, appeared on two national television shows (America’s Got Talent and Last Comic Standing), and been voted Seattle’s Funniest Prop Comedian.
