Registration is required.This is an in person event.REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENTMake a painting of trees with Betsy Jacks, artist and former Director of the Thomas Cole National Historic Site. There is no prior experience necessary for this two-hour workshop except for a love of trees and a desire to create a painting that captures that love. Betsy has developed methods that make the creative process easier, by-passing the parts of art-making that can be frustrating, such as getting the underlying drawing “right” and making the image look realistic right away. All the needed materials will be provided including a choice of several tree images to use, tools to transfer the image onto the painting surface, paints, brushes and detailed instructions.
