Sound Healing Experience with Paul Campbell

From our facilitator, Paul Campbell: Most of my life I have explored the fascinating world of Sound and Rhythm as a performing percussionist. Over time, my relationship with sound deepened beyond music and performance into a growing appreciation for its subtler qualities including resonance, vibration and sacred moments of soulful stillness. This awareness became an important part of my therapeutic hands-on sessions with my clients receiving Craniosacral Therapy, Bioenergetics, Matrix Energetics, Reiki and more in their full body therapy sessions. I became increasingly intrigued by the ways Sound and being in the moment could personalize each person’s experience of relaxation and deeper awareness. Then, 3 decades ago a powerful mental, physical, emotional and spiritual galactic energy came into me for a whole month. I felt this profound and soulful attraction from the universe toward the world of Sound Healing. Following that galactic inspiration, I miraculously was invited in one month into three separate totally sold out weekend Sound Healing workshops and opened my doorway to meet my fascinating family of instruments: Gongs, Tibetan Singing bowls, RavVast drums, Chimes, Native American drums, Tuning Forks and more to vibrate in my sessions. Some of my important teachers during these last 30 years include Dr. John Beaulieu, Gong Master Don Conreaux, and my first spiritual teacher Ron Mangrovite. What began as a lifelong fascination with percussion expanded into a deeper exploration of Sound, Vibration and the stillness between notes to be our invitation to relax and softly listen inwardly, notice what we notice breath to breath and experience the sacred stillness between the tones. My intention is to create welcoming spaces where we all can step away from everyday stress, settle into the present moment and discover our soulful relationships with Sound, Vibration and Stillness within.
