Bringing aboard some of the most creative local players, Mose Def celebrates the legacy of a brilliant American songsmith. Dean says, “I think of Mose as the Randy Newman of jazz. Equal parts musical and lyrical brilliance, with a healthy dash of snark. Mose always found just the right tone to deliver his wise blues.”
