The group celebrates the release of its fifth studio recording, Cycles I, their most ambitious project to date, featuring the innovative Friction Quartet. Release show performances bring together the leaders alongside special SF Bay Area guests Howard Wiley (tenor saxophone), Joel Behrman (trumpet), Ryan Pate (guitar), and Adam Carlson (from Portland, OR) (drums) -marking a powerful new chapter in the ensemble’s evolving artistic vision.
