Free Healthy Lecture Series The Healthy Lecture Series is free to active members of the Mt. Prospect Park District and features four lectures per year on a variety of topics. Topic: Cardio, Strength and Stretching In this one-hour lecture, we’ll explore the three essential components of a well-rounded fitness routine: cardiovascular training, strength building, and flexibility through stretching. You’ll learn how each element contributes to overall health, how to structure workouts for different fitness goals and how to avoid common mistakes that lead to injury or burnout.
