Join us at Barefoot Day for a day celebrating these adorable yellow swimmers! The Yellow Duck Truck will be on site, creating gourmet smash burgers and food truck faire for purchase. Duck Donuts will be there giving samples of their delectable donuts, Liberty Automotive Jeep will be there with the 2026 in the Barefoot Bay entrance breezeway. BCU and Mundelein Family Dental will be on hand for some fun and photos at a festive balloon photo booth. Try your “luck” by adopting a Duck! Adopt your Lucky Duck now and watch them race at Barefoot Bay on Saturday, August 1 (rain date: August 8). The Mundelein Parks Foundation has 250 adoptable ducks that are available for $10 each. The “Lucky Duck Race” will begin with a splash at 2 pm at Barefoot Bay. Bring the family to enjoy a day at the ‘Bay and stay to watch your Lucky Duck race in the lazy river. You don’t need to be present to win. All spectators must use a season pass or purchase a daily admittance at the resident/non-resident rate to enter Barefoot Bay. Click here to adopt your ducks!
