Every Saturday at 11am join us for Bewildering Biofacts! What’s a biofact you may wonder? A biofact is a biological artifact such as a bone, fur, egg, or shells that comes from a plant or animal. Each week we will take a closer look at a different biofact, learn about the animal it came from, and complete a related activity. this wee we investigate crab shells and the variety of crabs found on the beach from horseshoe crabs to hermit crabs to leopard crabs. Get an up close look at the shells of these crabs and learn the differences between them.
