About this event

Family Friendly Arts & Culture

Join us every Tuesday at 11 a.m. for Sea Tales. Each week we will read a story representing one of the animals or exhibits at the museum and complete an interactive craft or science activity based on the story. This week we will read Conservation with Jane Goodall by Maureen McQuary – Even little children can make a positive impact on the environment. Jane Goodall has dedicated her life to studying chimpanzees, and realized that sometimes people hurt the places where animals have always lived. She began to teach others how we can enjoy nature while also making sure that the homes of animals aren’t suffering. We will read this inspiring tale and discover ways we can help the environment at home.
