Sea Tales: Summer Song

Join us every Tuesday at 11 a.m. for Sea Tales. Each week we will read a story representing one of the animals or exhibits at the museum and complete an interactive craft or science activity based on the story.   This week we will read Summer Song by Kevin Henkes. Bees buzz, birds sing, and children roll in the grass and feel the heat of the summer sun. With striking verbal imagery, repetition, and alliteration, Kevin Henkes introduces basic concepts of language and the summer season. Hear all about the sounds of summer and make a summer nature scene.
