BECOME A MEMBER ABOUT DENNIS SCHOLL Dennis Scholl is an American arts patron, collector, award-winning documentary filmmaker, and cultural leader known for his work supporting contemporary artists and expanding public engagement with the arts. Scholl served as President and CEO of Oolite Arts in Miami Beach, where he led one of the country’s most respected artist residency and support programs, providing residencies, studio space, grants, and professional development opportunities for emerging and mid-career artists. Previously, he was Vice President for the Arts at the Knight Foundation, where he directed major national initiatives supporting cultural institutions, artists, and innovative arts programming across the United States. Dennis Scholl is a world-class storyteller, focusing on arts and culture. His interview subjects have included Robert Redford, Frank Gehry, Wynton Marsalis, Ai Wei Wei, and Theaster Gates.
