Begin the afternoon with a docent-guided tour at the museum highlighting the role of nature in artworks from around the world. From vibrant still lifes to majestic landscapes, discover how artists have drawn inspiration from the natural world and the many ways they interpret its beauty, power, and significance. Want extra time to explore the galleries? Arrive early and enjoy the museum at your own pace. Continue your experience at the St. Pete Pier, where you’ll board a sunset cruise with Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center’s expert marine scientists. Enjoy wildlife watching, visit a local bird sanctuary, and take in breathtaking views of the downtown skyline. Along the way, tap into your own creativity with provided art materials, and create a piece inspired by the day’s experiences.
