About this event
One of 54 upcoming events at Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg, and 2,251 across Tampa Bay.
Celebrate banned and challenged books in an immersive afternoon of literature, reflection, and creative exploration with Book + Bottle and the exhibition, Explore the Vaults | A Terrible Beauty: Photographers Amid Chaos. Through a curated selection of banned books and guided writing prompts, you’ll be challenged to investigate what you know while exploring what you don’t. Inspired by the artwork around you, group conversations, personal passions, and even your own assumptions, each prompt is designed to spark curiosity, connection, and discovery. As the session unfolds, attendees will move throughout the exhibition space, allowing new perspectives and environments to shape their journaling experience. Bring your journal, an open mind, and a willingness to engage deeply with stories that continue to challenge, provoke, and inspire. Sun, Sept 6, 11am-1pm Free with admission; RSVP required TICKETS Not yet a member? Become a member today and enjoy all the benefits membership at the MFA offers!
