Homeschool Hours | Portraiture + Identity

Homeschool groups and families are invited to join the MFA as we explore culture, history, math, and the science of art alongside exhibitions in our permanent collection. Create a mixed media self-portrait that reflects your identity, interests, and experiences—not just your appearance. Then, use the in-gallery activity guide to explore the stories of people represented throughout the museum’s galleries. Instruction and activities are designed for students ages 5–14. Family members and caregivers should be in attendance with students. Home School Hours occur the second Wednesday of each month.
