About this event
One of 61 upcoming events at Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg, and 5,413 across Tampa Bay.
Join MFA St. Pete at the Tarpon Springs Library for an exploration of zine-making—a creative, DIY booklet that gives artists and authors a space to share their thoughts, ideas, interests, and unique perspectives. Led by MFA Docent Specialist and local artist Cato Galen, participants will explore works from the museum’s collection and discover how art can inspire their own creative storytelling. Then, transform those ideas into a one-of-a-kind zine using accessible, hands-on techniques. No prior experience is necessary! Just bring your curiosity and imagination Mon, Nov 16, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM Ages 12-18 Free: Registration Required Tarpon Springs Library 138 E Lemon St, Tarpon Springs, FL Register on Library Website Cato Galen Multimedia artist and MFA Docent Specialist Cato Galen (they/them) has used poetry, movement, illustration, collage, and music to explore their inner world and help other people unblock their creative visions.
