About this event
One of 22 upcoming events at Museum of Idaho, and 61 across Idaho Falls.
A limited-time monthly series where kids search for clues and solve mysteries in the exhibits. Two sessions are available on the same Saturday each month: juniors ages 6 to 9, and detectives ages 10 to 13. Petroglyph Wall: Mystery of the Ancestral Echoes A cultural mystery is waiting to be uncovered. Join us as we explore Bailey Dann’s powerful artwork inspired by Shoshone-Bannock ancestral petroglyphs and stories passed down through generations. Kids will look closely at the shapes, figures, and patterns carved into the metal panels, consider how these markings help protect history, and imagine the echoes of stories carried through time. With the artist present to share her perspective, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how art continues the work of ancient story keepers! Sessions: Juniors (ages 6-9): 1:30-2:30 pm | Register Detectives (ages 10-13): 3-4 pm | Register Registration opens 30 days before each monthly session. General admission is not included
