About this event
One of 15 upcoming events at Museum of Miniatures.
Join us for a special all-ages Craft Day presented in collaboration with Arizona State Museum. Explore Memory Lane: Traditions in Motion from Arizona State Museum, featuring hand-painted vehicles by Native artists. Each work reflects a distinct connection to heritage, identity, and contemporary life. Across many Indigenous communities, cars, skateboards, motorcycles, bicycles, and even shoes become canvases for personal and cultural expression. Artists incorporate traditional symbols, colors, and patterns to share both cultural heritage and contemporary experiences. After exploring the exhibition, join Arizona State Museum staff to create and decorate your own three-dimensional paper car inspired by the exhibit. The activity is included with Museum admission and available while supplies last. All ages are welcome. Arizona State Museum members receive complimentary Museum admission on November 14. A valid membership card must be presented in person. Complimentary admission applies to the named cardholder only.
