Junior Historian Summer Camp

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at the Junior Historian Summer Day Camp! This exciting camp for grades 1–6 takes young explorers on a hands-on journey through North Idaho’s fascinating past, with a new theme each week. Campers will dive into interactive activities, crafts, outdoor exploration, and storytelling—learning by doing, creating, and discovering along the way. From pioneer life to local legends, every day brings something new to explore. It’s the perfect mix of fun, friendship, and history brought to life. Spots fill fast—join us for a summer they won’t forget! Each camp runs Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Cost: $125 per week Grades 1st through 3rd: June 30 – July 2: Planes, Trains & Paddlewheels (Transportation) July 7 – 9: Forestry Legends of North Idaho (Wildfires & Logging) July 14 – 16: Journey to North Idaho (Early Pioneers & Settlers) July 21 – 23: Mining & Mighty Floods (Mining and Geology) Grades 4th through 6th: August 4 – 6: Planes, Trains & Paddlewheels (Transportation) August 11 – 13: Forestry Legends of North Idaho (Wildfires & Logging) August 18 – 20: Journey to North Idaho (Early Pioneers & Settlers) August 25 – 27: Mining & Mighty Floods (Mining & Geology)
