Join MoNA on Saturday, November 14, for the Geography of Resiliency Panel. The panel is part of the education programming accompanying the exhibition Surge: A Geography of Flow and will engage the public and critical players in a moderated discussion about how our local governmental organizations respond to climate change. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Kathryn Sobocinski, an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences and the Marine and Coastal Science program at Western Washington University. Panelists (alphabetically by last name): William Bullock, Public Works Director, Sedro-Woolley Joe Burns, Skagit Commissioner Marylee Chamberlain, La Conner City Council Mayor Peter Donovan, Mount Vernon Nora Kammer, Director of Habitat Protection, Skagit River System Cooperative Representative Clyde Shavers, 10th Legislative District’s State Representative Jacob Slosberg, Owner of Boldly Grown Farm
