October 15, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm Online FREE Considering joining The Museum of Russian Art for Romanov + Royal Germany? This online information session is an opportunity to learn more about the tour, from accommodations and transportation to the pace of the itinerary, travel arrangements, and what to expect along the way. Doug Moorhouse of Carrousel Travel will join TMORA Executive Director Mark Meister, Curator Dr. Masha Zavialova, and Director of Public Programs & Marketing Michelle Massey to introduce the journey and discuss both the practical details and the experiences that make this itinerary distinctive. The tour travels through Darmstadt, Heidelberg, Baden-Baden, Stuttgart, Bad Homburg, and Wiesbaden, exploring the landscapes, palaces, and cities connected to the German princesses who became Romanov empresses, grand duchesses, and royal relations. Dr. Zavialova will offer insight into the Romanov connections that inspired the journey and the history travelers will encounter throughout Germany. The session will include an opportunity for questions regarding the itinerary, accommodations, travel arrangements, and other aspects of the tour. Thursday, October 15 4:00 – 5:30 PM CST Free via Zoom Advance registration is required to attend the live session. Registered participants will receive a Zoom link.
