Rooted in Resistance, Here Eternally: Saturday Festival

Palestine has shifted the world’s order in ways our elders never could have imagined. We are nearly three years into the newest phase of the genocide against our people in Gaza, and 78 years post Nakba. As Palestinians, we know the Nakba didn’t end in 1948: it has continued every single day since. And we know that every people’s struggle for liberation is tied to our own. This past year has only made that clearer. This year, MPP is hosting our third annual Museum of the Palestinian People Art and Culture Festival. Over three days, we’ll welcome people from across the country to the nation’s capital to celebrate and honor Palestinian history, art, culture, and community. The theme of this year’s event is simple: Here Eternally هنا إلى الأبد Rooted in Resistance متجذر في المقاومة We’re still here as artists, painters, writers, athletes, chefs. And we will always be here, as Palestinians, generation after generation.
