Join us for this Living History Saturday focusing on Sheep Shearing! We will explore the different steps involved in the process of turning sheep’s wool into finished textiles for clothing and household goods! On-going Activities: 1. Carding and spinning 2. Weaving and tape-weaving 3. Natural dyeing Timed Activities: 1. Animal feeding (10:30 a.m.) 2. Sheep shearing (11 a.m & 2 p.m.) 3. Historic Brattonsville site tour (Noon) 4. Natural dyeing demonstration (1 p.m.) 5. Weaving demonstration (3 p.m.) This event is included in Historic Brattonsville’s general admission for March 28.
