Museum brings back Supper in the Cemetery! The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County is bringing back its Supper in the Cemetery event on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 6pm. The long-standing Museum program has been on hiatus for a number of years. Gather among the tombstones for a lasagna dinner prepared by Hancock’s Catering before convening inside the Riverside Chapel. There, we will hear from actors portraying people who played key roles in the life of Edgar Cayce. Born in Christian County in 1877, Edgar Cayce displayed great gifts of clairvoyance that he used to help thousands of people overcome health and other problems. Widely known as the “Sleeping Prophet,” Cayce is credited at being an early force in holistic medicine and in the New Age movement. His lifetime work continues to provide healthy living goals, spiritual ideals, and life lessons today. This year’s Supper in the Cemetery is held in conjunction with the museum’s Edgar Cayce Hometown Seminar. The museum will host learning sessions and other activities related to Cayce’s work beginning on Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 22. Tickets purchased for the full seminar include reservations for Supper in the Cemetery. PURCHASE TICKETS Reservations for Supper in the Cemetery ONLY are $25 per person and $20 for Museum Members and can be purchased through our Shopify Store or at the Pennyroyal Area Museum.
