For pioneers, quilts were created for warmth but they also held family ties. Women would often get together for quilting bees, an important social event as they would work on their design. Many quilt designs have names associated with them. Stop into create and name your own paper quilt square. Free for members and Muskegon county residents, $5 for out-of-county.
