From Myrtle
Evening Sky—Eric Hastings, Chris Brooks, Joe Potenza, and Gene Rosati—move fluidly between jazz improvisation and roots-inspired songcraft, creating music that feels both expansive and grounded. Equally at home interpreting a piece by Keith Jarrett or reimagining “Wichita Lineman,” the band balances subtle interplay with moments of sweeping intensity. A standout on the Providence scene, Evening Sky brings deep musicianship, adventurous originals, and a rare ability to meet any room with exactly what it needs.
