What is Gathered Remains

@ On display January 23 – June 1 This exhibition explores the hidden wonder that is Naples Botanical Garden’s seed bank, a lesser-viewed home for diversity, restoration, and preservation. Lauren Shapiro’s semi-transparent sculptural screens incorporate botanical textures, archival references, and fragments of language drawn from Garden records. Shifting light and changing vantage points reveal layers embedded within the glass, echoing the complexity of ecological systems and long-term conservation research.
