Opera Southwest: New Year’s with the Opera! Thursday, December 31, 2025 2:30 pm NHCC | Albuquerque Journal Theatre Join us for an operatic New Year’s Eve! New Year’s with the Opera is a fun variety show featuring the remarkable talents of your favorite singers, to be announced soon. Accompanying our singers are the Opera Southwest Orchestra, the New Mexico Symphonic Chorus, and the Albuquerque Youth Symphony, all masterfully conducted by Maestro Anthony Barrese. With a variety of opera favorites and light classics, there is something for everyone to ring in the New Year. This is your chance to enjoy an incredible celebration without any hassle. Join Opera Southwest after the performance across the plaza at La Fonda del Bosque for a buffet dinner with wine and a champagne toast! Registration coming for after dinner soon.
