Thriller Film Series: Ventajas de viajar en tren/Advantages of Travelling by Train Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026 7:00 pm NHCC | Bank of America Theatre Just in time for Halloween, join us for our Thriller! film series, in partnership with Instituto Cervantes de Albuquerque. We will be screening four films, all from the thriller genre. Our series concludes with Ventajas de viajar en tren/Advantages of Travelling by Train (2019), a black comedy starring Luis Tosar set in Basque Country and Murcia. NOTE: All films in the series are intended for mature audiences. About the film: A combination black comedy-psychological mind-bender, the film weaves together multiple stories of obsession and fantasy, as shared between two strangers on a train: one a chatty psychiatrist, the other Helga, who’s just committed her paranoid husband to a psychiatric ward.
