San Francisco’s Millennium Tower is a 58-story luxury condominium building developed between 2005 and 2009. Over the next ten years, the structure settled more than 18 inches and tilted a similar amount, resulting in litigation. To address these issues, SGH designed a unique structural upgrade, which involved installing 18 piles along the building’s north and west sides extending to bedrock to arrest further settlement and provide for gradual recovery of tilting
