Data Centers, Groundwater, and Sustainable Water Management Forum

As data center development accelerates across the United States, groundwater professionals, utilities, regulators, developers, and community stakeholders are increasingly being drawn into conversations about water supply, resource sustainability, infrastructure planning, and emerging cooling technologies. This one-day event the day before Groundwater Week provides a structured forum for participants to understand the technical, operational, regulatory, and planning considerations associated with data center development and groundwater resources. Through presentations, facilitated discussions, case studies, and networking opportunities, attendees will explore how proactive engagement and sound groundwater management can support both economic development and long-term resource stewardship. The forum is educational in nature and is designed to foster understanding across disciplines rather than advocate for specific policies or regulatory outcomes. This is an in-person event. There is no option for virtual participation.
