Please join the NSCDA-MA for Colonial Blacksmithing & Embroidery at the Dorothy Quincy Homestead House. Dean Rantz has been a “Practicing Blacksmith” since 1982. He operates, Rock Village Forge in Middleborough, Mass. Using traditional tools and techniques. He creates and recreates Hand forged-Iron work. Laura Rantz will be demonstrating colonial embroidery. Guided tours of the Homestead are conducted every 30 minutes, on the hour and half hour. Admission is $10.00 per person, donations are welcome. The program is co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Quincy Art Council.
