Common Threads presents Through Rothstein’s Lens: New Deal Photography and Nevada’s Transformation Speaker: Ann Rothstein-Segan, Daughter of Arthur Rothstein Brodie Hefner, Historian In 1940, Rothstein’s lens captured the landscapes, attractions, and western heritage that would soon draw millions of visitors and residents to Nevada. More than 80 years later, Ann and Brodie offer a rare, behind-the-scenes look at his Nevada assignment, revealing how New Deal investments helped spark decades of rapid growth in the region.
