The Nevada State Railroad Museum is offering rides on the historic Virginia & Truckee McKeen Motor Car! Approximately 150 of McKeen Motor Cars were built between 1905-1917 for various United States railroads. McKeen Motor Cars were built with a gas engine and were among the first pieces of railroad equipment to be designed aerodynamically. The Virginia & Truckee McKeen Motor Car is currently the only fully-restored and operable McKeen Motor Car in existence. Rides last approximately 30 minutes. McKeen Car Checkout
