WI Science Festival Bioblitz

Be a citizen scientist for the day--join the library for the Wisconsin Science Festival Bioblitz! This is an all ages event, perfect for the whole family! This year’s festival feature, “Us,” celebrates the human side of science and invites every Wisconsinite to see themselves as part of discovery, curiosity, and innovation. A bioblitz is a communal effort to record as many species within a designated location and time period as possible. These observations help contribute to real scientific research! Learn more about the Wisconsin Science Festival BioBlitz and join the project on iNaturalist here! Drop in anytime from 10AM-12PM at Lions Park to take photos of plants, animals, and insects using the free iNaturalist app on your phone. Paper observation sheets will be available to anyone who prefers to participate in an analog way. All participants who stop by our table and make observations at the park will be entered into a raffle for a $50 gift certificate from American Science and Surplus!
