Studio KIDS!: Glittering Gold

Join us at the museum on select Saturday mornings for Studio KIDS! and Little Learners youth art-making workshops. In these workshop series designed for artists ages 4-5 (Little Learners) and 6-12 (Studio KIDS!), we’ll take inspiration from works on view across the museum and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden and make our own creations with a teaching artist. About Studio KIDS!: Glittering Gold Search the galleries for gold! After visiting galleries that glimmer, including the exhibition Second Nature: Japanese Rinpa Paintings from the Gitter-Yelen Collection, participants will create their own autumnal artwork using gold leaf. The Studio KIDS! sessions will be led by teaching artist Krystyna. Registration is $25 for members and $30 for other participants. Advance registration is required and includes the price of all art-making materials. Register for Studio KIDS!: Glittering Gold Studio KIDS! and Little Learners participants also receive a 10% discount on purchases made at the NOMA Museum Shop. The discount is valid only for the day of their workshop attendance. Participants must show proof of attendance to receive the discount. Markdown and consignment merchandise is excluded from the discount. Please note: capacity for each Studio KIDS! session is 12 participants, and capacity for each Little Learners session is 10 participants. Registration will close at 12 pm the day before the workshop. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made after 12 pm the Thursday before the workshop.
