Yurie Collins: PEOPLE DIFFERENT at

Yurie Collins is one of the leading forces bringing stand-up comedy to a new generation in Japan. As a bilingual comedian of English and Japanese heritage, she has built a devoted following in both Japan and the United States. Following the success of the Monsters of Tokyo U.S. tour—which sold out multiple cities across America—Yurie now embarks on her first-ever U.S. solo headlining tour: People Different The tour follows the release of her debut English-language special, Tokyo Glitch, and her first Japanese-language hour, This Is Me., which surpassed 100,000 YouTube views in its first two days. Drawing on her experiences growing up as a half-Japanese woman in Japan and navigating life between two cultures, Yurie's personal yet universally relatable storytelling has made her one of the most exciting new voices in international comedy.
