About this event
One of 4 upcoming events at Yellowstone River Parks Association, and 152 across Billings.
On the first Saturday of each month, YRPA volunteers tackle a bigger project at one of our parks. Bring a friend! And also bring water, work gloves, and sturdy shoes, and dress for the weather. A shovel, fence pliers, and/or a pair of loppers are also often handy. More detail for Nov 1st: Join the Buckthorn Bandits at Two Moon Park to continue the restoration and beautification of our local park from 9am - 1pm. Volunteers first began working in 2021 to remove woody invasive species, and now over 30 acres of parkland have been cleared, making way for planting parties! Volunteer help is needed to plant native trees and shrubs, install deer cages, spread wildflower seed, and pick up litter. Tools will be provided. Please bring sturdy work gloves, and sturdier shoes.
