Guided Walk: Masthead Drive Trail to North River Monday, November 9 1:00 pm Van transportation provided. Meet at Norwell Council on Aging. with Kezia Bacon and Brian Taylor Limit: 25 participants (in 2 vans) Join NSRWA for a guided walk to the North River. We’ll follow a forest trail from Masthead Drive in Norwell to a spot with a gorgeous view of the river. Situated just west of the Route 3 Bridge, it may not be the quietest place, but the view of the river and its marshes at the end of the trail is not to be missed! Along the way, we’ll share details about the North River and its watershed, and some of the issues it faces. We’ll also review the property’s history, which includes the Stetson Shipyard. The trail is relatively flat, although some sections might be muddy, or bumpy with tree roots. The out-and-back route is a total of 0.8 miles.
