Work The Trail Day

Enjoy some time with the friendly folks of the Allegheny National Forest Chapter and give back to the trail you love! This is our last scheduled trail workday for 2026. Come join us! On this workday, we will be replacing a bridge with a rock crossing, rebuilding a kiosk, clearing some trail, and repairing trail tread. We encourage people who are new to trail work to come out and join us. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. We’ll meet at Sugar Bay Trailhead, located about 7.5 mi south of Rt 346 and 6.35 mi north of Rt 59 on Rt 321. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather (blaze orange is encouraged), and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. Remember that “many hands make light work”. See you there! © 2026 North Country Trail Association The North Country Trail Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
