The North Shore Arts Association welcomes you to experience a solo exhibition of works by Megan Lawlor, on view from June 24 – July 12, 2026. Born in Teaneck, NJ and raised in Manasquan, Megan studied Fashion Illustration at Moore College of Art & Design and continued her training in classical portrait, figure, and landscape painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She further refined her skills through master classes and ongoing study with leading realist artists in Philadelphia. Working primarily in oils, she paints landscapes and seascapes from both coasts as well as portraits and figurative works, seeking to capture the spirit of a place and the inner life of her subjects through expressive brushwork and color. Her work is widely exhibited, held in collections in North America and Europe, and she lives and works in Pennsylvania. More of Megan’s work can be found on her website, meganlawlor.com.
