Rooted in the stylistic traditions of Broadway and influenced by choreographic innovators such as Bob Fosse and Jerome Robbins, students will build skills in alignment, rhythm, coordination, musicality, and expressive performance quality. Through across-the-floor progressions and combination work inspired by contemporary musical theatre, dancers will grow in confidence, versatility, and stage presence while learning to connect movement to character and intention.This class is ideal for both emerging dancers and experienced performers seeking to strengthen their technical foundation and stylistic versatility. Students will leave with a deeper understanding of jazz technique, improved musicality and performance quality, and the confidence to approach any piece of choreography with precision, storytelling, and dynamic stage presence.
