About this event
One of 70 upcoming events at Norwalk Concert Hall.
Join us for a special Midday Matinee with Broadway veteran Frank Mastrone, as he shares some of his favorite songs from Broadway classics to contemporary pop hits. Laced with humor, reflection, and heart, Frank’s performance draws on a remarkable career spanning Broadway, national tours, and some of the world’s most celebrated concert stages. Frank was a member of the original Broadway company of The Phantom of the Opera and has appeared on Broadway in Big: The Musical, Saturday Night Fever, Jekyll & Hyde, and Les Misérables. During his nearly four-year run with Jekyll & Hyde, he understudied and performed the title role dozens of times. On tour, Frank performed the role of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables before joining the New York company, and has also toured with Cats, Evita, and Mamma Mia! His concert appearances have taken him from Carnegie Hall to Lincoln Center and London's Royal Albert Hall, where he appeared in the concert version of Kristina, the musical by ABBA's Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. Other concert credits include South Pacific, Show Boat, and Camelot with the New York Philharmonic. From beloved Broadway standards and classic hits to songs from today's pop charts, Frank brings his extraordinary voice, wonderful stories, and years on the Broadway stage to FTC for an afternoon you won't want to miss.
