Let’s do the Time Warp… again🕺👄 COSTUMES STRONGLY ENCOURAGED but not necessary! Prizes will be given out for best costumes. I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey… The Rocky Horror Picture Show is turning 50, and we’re throwing a party! Celebrate half a century of cult cinema’s most outrageous phenomenon with a special anniversary screening that’s all about the experience: yelling at the screen, dancing in the aisles, and reveling in every delightfully weird moment. This is not your typical movie night. Audience participation is not just allowed — it’s encouraged. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is renowned for its audience participation roles at different times and scenes during the film. There will be props available for purchase at the venue the night of the show for $10 a bag. *LIMITED AVAILABILITY* To encourage the safety and enjoyment of the film by all in attendance, any bags brought to the theater could be subjected to a search for inappropriate/non-allowable items. What is allowed & what’s in the kit! The $10 kits include: (Seprate Purchase) Rice, Newspaper, Water Gun, Glow Stick, Time Warp Flyer, Rubber Glove, Noisemaker, Confetti Popper, Toilet Paper, Party Hat, Bell, Sponge, Cards, Instructions, Bag So now we know what the kit will include, we’re new to this thing. How do we use them, which ones that aren’t in the kit are also allowed OR are not allowed, and at what point in the movie do we use them? This movie is all about participation but we also want to make sure the theater isn’t damaged, wrecked, or burned down (under NO circumstances should an open flame ever be used within the Theatre). People are absolutely encouraged to dress up and have fun, but there are just a few things we cannot and will not allow and they are listed below along with the items included in the $10 kit, as well as when to use them. Another thing we ask is to please not throw things at the screen. Here’s your play-by-play of when to use your props, as well as the things that just can’t be allowed. Here we go: Large “J”-“A”-“N”-“E”-“T” cards In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O'Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named "Rocky."
