How Access For All works A serious night of bluegrass that doesn't take itself too seriously! Mr. Bill is a local bluegrass band based out of Keene, New Hampshire. They play a mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass music along with original music and grassification of some familiar favorites from the 60s and 70s. The band consists of Steve “Zuber” Armstrong on bass, Matt Atkinson on guitar and vocals, John Meehan on mandolin and vocals, and Rich Sullivan on five string banjo. Keene resident Josiah Sterling brings his style of melodic clawhammer banjo to play traditional tunes from the old time songbook. With influences from Europe and Africa, old time music is a uniquely American genre whose DNA can be seen in bluegrass, country music and blues. Josiah plays a wide assortment of melodies from lively fiddle tunes to groovy backwoods rhythms. The poster is from work by Deb Decicco.
