In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of the process, explore how contemporary and historical artists have incorporated cyanotype into their practices, and create your own prints on a variety of surfaces, not just paper. First developed in 1842, cyanotype has been used by artists, botanists, and architects for nearly two centuries. Through playful experimentation with objects, natural materials, and light, participants will discover the surprising possibilities of this accessible and distinctive medium.
