Using Ann O’Hanlon’s book, seeing/perception, as inspiration, Cayen and Candis lead discussions of what we see when we look at the artworks of others or our own. 11 am to 1 pm Limited number of participants. She has been a long time facilitator at the O’Hanlon Center and loves talking with people about their art. Candis Cousins works in monoprint, collage and drawing. For twelve years she was in the monoprint workshop led by Cayen Robertson. When Cayen stepped down five years ago, Candis began facilitating the workshop. Whether we are looking at the work of other artists or our own work, Candis believes that our discussions can move us from prejudice to a state of wonder, recognizing beauty in unexpected places.
