About this event
One of 468 upcoming events at Oak Lawn Public Library, and 10,924 across Chicago.
Once Oak Lawn was incorporated as a Village in 1909 and the Wabash rail line was established, big changes began happening. Join us for a look at the first 50 years of Oak Lawn in the 20th Century, from the roaring twenties through the fabulous fifties, and the families who made Oak Lawn their home. Th exhibit is open for public viewing at 9:00 a.m. We will host a reception with a speaker and refreshments in the new Encore Room at 7:00 p.m.
