An Illuminating Evening at the Jewett House

Saturday, September 12, Open House: 4:00-4:45pm / Magic Lantern Show: 5:00pm Location: Jewett House (73 S. Professor St., Oberlin, OH 44074) Join OHC for this free event in observation of Ohio Open Doors. 4:00-4:45pm: Guests are welcome to come enjoy the Jewett House during our Open House and hear about life in the Progressive Era from a costumed interpreter portraying Fanny Jewett. 5:00pm: Starting promptly at 5pm, the lights will be turned down for a Magic Lantern Show by Oberlin College Libraries’ Visual Resources Collection Curator, Heath Patten. No reservations are required for the Open House, but are required for the Magic Lantern Show as seats are limited.
