History as Art

In collaboration with Oconomowoc High School, we are proud to present the fourth edition of “History as Art.” By combining the artistic talents of Oconomowoc High School students with the rich historical resources of our museum, this project will blend history and artistic interpretation into compelling works of art. Creations will be displayed in the museum next to their object(s) of inspiration beginning Tuesday, November 17. Each piece will include a brief statement explaining its inspiration and what it means to the artist. Museum visitors will be encouraged to vote for what they like best in various categories during our regular open hours. An awards reception will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 17. This reception is free and open to the public.
