Join us for an OMAA Conversation with Jonathan D. Katz on Thursday, August 13 from 5-7 PM. This event will take place at the Museum and is free and open to the public. Jonathan D. Katz is a pioneering scholar, curator, and activist whose work has helped establish the field of queer art history. As an author and curator, he has written many of the first queer histories of major artists and curated groundbreaking exhibitions, including the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery’s first major museum exhibition on queer art in the United States. He is currently Professor of Practice, History of Art and Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Click here to reserve your free tickets.
